The Global Humanitarian Forum (GHF) was founded in 2007 as an independent and impartial international platform for addressing humanitarian concerns. The forum’s work is centred on climate change.
In June 2009, the forum hosted its inaugural Youth Forum entitled Young Adults 4 New Results in Geneva. 100 selected international young adults will search for new ideas and solutions as to what young adults can do to address the human impact of climate change. The Youth Forum 2009 has been a great success and due to the positive feedback regarding the Youth Forum the GHF decided recently to further strengthen the focus on youth activities in the coming years. There will be Youth Forum in 2010, and the forum will launch a global competition through which young people (18-30 year) from all over the world can apply to take part. Mischa Liatowitsch, Project Manager Youth Forum, told me that possibility in February 2010 to publisize the competition. Hope that you are, the young people, in Asia Pacific who are potential interested to attend the Youth Forum 2010 could take part on the competition.
