Indian National Municipal & Local Bodies Federation (INTUC) celebrated International May Day Rally with 2000 municipal workers lead by Mr. Adil Shariff, Youth Secretary (INMLBWF) on 1st May 2009 at Hyderabad-A.P-INDIA. The employees and workers of Municipal Corporation marched the rally on roads and demanded for decent work and to regularize the municipal contract workers. The federation organized the May Day in a very enthusiastic way in front of the assembly. It had a great impact on government and it showed the strength and unity of the working class. The Youth Secretary Mr. Adil Shariff has taken the opportunity to address the challenges faced by young workers and appealed to all young workers to get united and come forward to address the issues in a consolidated way so that young workers voice can be heard.
