Shweta Tripathi, young women leader of the Hind Mahila Saba, India (HMS), granted scholarship for International Master Program on Globalisation and Labour at the Global Labour University (GLU)Programme in India which collaborates with The Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai, India. She is active in the trade union movement since her entry in the movement, and this must be the basic qualification for applicant to enroll the programme.

Sister V. Lakshmi, PSI South Asia Sub-regional Secretary, was invited by the GLU for a session on quality public services: performance of public sector institution, PSI and its gender policies. This session was attended by 18 students from various sectors and countries. Three of the students evinced interest to take internship program with PSI. The internship will be taken for six month to finalize their credits semester.
